with Sesame Ponzu Green Beans & Ginger Rice
Meatloaves with a Sweet Chili Glaze
Tender mini meatloaves get a sticky sweet chili finish, served with sesame ponzu green beans and fragrant ginger rice for a savory, tangy, and satisfying dinner.
Ingredients
For 2 servings
- 1 thumb Ginger
- 6 ounce Green Beans
- 10 ounce Ground Beef
- ½ cup Jasmine Rice
- 1 unit Ketchup
- 1 teaspoon Korean Chili Flakes
- 1 unit Lime
- ¼ cup Panko Breadcrumbs
- 6 milliliters Ponzu Sauce
- 2 unit Scallions
- 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds
- 4 tablespoon Sweet Soy Glaze
Additional Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1 teaspoon Cooking Oil
- Pepper
- Salt

Swaps and substitutions
For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free breadcrumbs and a gluten-free soy-based sauce in place of the wheat-containing glaze components. For dairy-free or sesame-free needs, the dish already fits dairy-free; simply omit the sesame seeds and choose a similar salty-sweet finish with soy and citrus.
What to serve with it
Serve with a crisp cucumber salad or steamed broccoli to balance the sweet-spicy glaze, plus extra rice if you want a more filling plate. A chilled citrus drink or light lager also works well with the savory, sesame-forward flavors.
